Photos on business cards
I did a photo-shoot for York based Tower Travel a few months ago. This is one of the many ways they have used the photos so far, on some shiny new business cards.

Shooting a bus in London
It's not exactly going to go down as one of my most glamorous of shoots, but it was something new for me, and I have to admit I quite enjoyed the bus related ramblings of self titlted "Barmy Bus Driver" and company owner of Tower Travel, Dan.
We had a mini tour of London, stopping near Regent Park, Battersea Power Station, and The London Eye for photos. I also got Dan to drive around Parliament Square 4 times while I stood on the kerb taking "action" shots.
All in a days work...

Photographing Sunseekers
Yesterday with the help of some contacts from the model I was working with, she managed to get us a couple of very nice Sunseeker boats to do the shoot on. While she was getting changed and doing the normal girly stuff, I took a few minutes to take a few photos of boat of the boats.
We had two boats, a Sunseeker Manhattan 68, and a Sunseeker Predator.
These are just snap shots, the boats were not staged, neither were they spotlessly clean (dust & fingerprints you'd miss with the naked eye are much more visible on camera). I didn't use a tripod, was shooting at a higher ISO that I normally would for this kind of job, and I only spent 5 minutes max taking the pictures on each boat.
Although all that said, I'm quite pleased with the results. Now to find a paying job taking photographs of sexy boats in a hot place.

The pipes are calling
This mornings shoot was all about pipes, hot water pipes, cold water pipes, waste pipes, air ventilation pipes, pipes for just about everything.
The lead photo was my one brief attempt at being creative, the rest of the photos were all quite normal. Pipes are a serious business don't ya know?
The location, still very much a construction site, was one I'd driven by loads of times, the new police head quarters in Southampton. The first thing I commented upon when getting on-site was how much bigger is was. From the road all you can see is the 8-storey tower, but inside you can see the large parking structure, and lower 2 stories which form a much larger building.
After being all PPE'ed up I was escorted around the building and told which pipes to shoot. It was my first time on a construction site, so it was all rather interesting. I did sneak a couple of shots from the roof of the surrounding area - it was just a shame the weather was so crappy.
